Sony is still using a 2-axis image stabilization. Pentax is using a 3-axis image stabilization. And Olympus has a 5-axis image stabilization.

Hopefully, Sony will get on the ball and bring out a new stabilization for the A-mount bodies.

Sure 5 is bigger than 2, but where is the evidence that it produces better results? What counts here, marketing blurb or the actual performance? If you show me that there is a significant, quantitative increase in performance with the Olympus stabilisation system then I'll agree with you, but I won't buy it just because of the number of stabilisation axes.
