Re: E-M5 has DR 13!

It is similar to asking why some European small size sports car maker did not opt for 8 cylinders and a 4000cc engine for better performance at a time, when technology like DOHC and fuel injection started to appear, and could deliver what a car deliberately designed to be smaller and more nimble for the joys of driving around winding roads needs in its power/weight ratio.

M43 cameras have so many lenses and have taken so long to get to this stage, proving to everybody Olympus had the foresight to take such a decision, though it struggled until now to meet high IQ expectations of demanding photographers. And, just as it seems to be making a breakthrough with new levels of IQ and features in the E-M5, it was asked why not give up everything and use a bigger sensor!!! And developing a new line of lenses, giving up the huge headstart it has compared to the other mirrorless makers?? !!!
