Something you don't see every day:

A Bigma (Sigma 50-500mm) mounted on an NX10 or rather an NX10 mounted on a Bigma. The size mismatch is almost irrelevant. Even a full-frame camera is dwarfed by the lens, so the combination is carried by the lens grip/tripod mount rather than the camera body.

I didn't buy the Bigma to use with the NX10 but since it is Pentax mount and I already have the NX/PK mount adapter, I decided to try it out

The target is a small tree a couple of hundred yards down the fairway on the left. The tree in the foreground is included just for perspective. First the view at 50mm.

At 300mm

At 500mm

Results were soft at the long end. It was a windy day but my main problem was camera movement. I used a monopod but found it inadequate. At 500mm (750mm ff equiv.), I seemed to be swaying everywhere.

Samsung NX10 Sigma 50-500mm F4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM
