NX20 Dimensions Ergonomic implications

Sizes for Samsung NX11 and Panasonic GH2 are actual measured on bodies to hand. Sizes for NX20 are from leaks, diagrams and other previews on various websites.
NX 11 is Width 122 Height 90 Body depth 39 Handle depth 39.5
GH2 is Width 122 Height 90 Body depth 42 Handle depth 55
NX20 is Width 122 Height 90 Body depth 41 Handle depth 43

Assuming the various published measurements for the NX20 are correct, the NX 20 is exactly the same width and height as the NX11 and GH2. The only difference between the NX20 and NX11 is 2-3 mm more depth. Due to the swing out monitor on the NX20, the rear control panel (the part of the camera to the right of the monitor as viewed by the user) has had to shrink to about 30 mm, not much more than the GH2. This is not good news for the ergonomics as it means there is less room for the thumb rest and thumb operated control modules. In addition the apparently larger hump is due to lower shoulders not a bigger hump. This in turn lowers the shutter height from 71mm in the NX11 to about 62mm in the NX20, again to the detriment of the holding aspect of ergonomics. My personal reaction to this is disappointment to put it mildly. The reason I got the NX10 in the first place was its superior ergonomics to the then available G1. The NX10/11 are still nicer to hold and operate than the GH2.
