A good backpack?

Interesting how different preferences are. I have that bag too, and I find it very impractical. I never use it. I particularly have a problem wit the access to the camera compartment, which requires yptaking off the BB.

I like the general idea of a BB with a compartment for non-camera stuff though, and I used the Lowepro Fastpack 250 quite a bit on tours in the city. I liked the side loading of it, since you can swing it around on the left strap and get the camera out without taking the BB off.

But I am used to the carrying ergonomics of good hiking BBs and in that department I have yet to find a Lowepro product that I find acceptable. The Fastpack is useful, but it still shares this problem.
