If you liked the E510, then you will love the E30

The E30 is pretty much an E510 on steroids:

  • Better sensor

  • More resolution

  • Less noise

  • Better performance at higher ISO

  • Better AF. More focus points.

  • Extremely good build quality

  • Faster continuous shooting rate

  • AE and WB bracketing

  • Double Exposure

  • Incredibly good OVF

  • Better liveview

  • 7 aspect ratios

  • 1/8000 second top shutter speed

  • Digital Leveler

  • Tilt and twist screen

  • AF Micro Adjust

  • Art Filters, Face Detection etc.

The only downside is that the E30 is quite a bit bigger, and 50% heavier than the E510. In fact, it really is "halfway between" and E510 and an E5 in size and weight.

The E30 handles extremely well, is very fast, and the OVF will be a joy for you to use after using the tiny one on the E510. The grip is comfortable, and holding it feels more secure than an E510.

What would be REALLY nice would be an E50 with the OM-D sensor and HD video.

Of course, this is just dreaming....
