Re: My E-3 died. OM-D or E-5?

How can you say you mainly use one hand (the right) to shoot with? A camera like the E-5 can only be used steadily by holding it (body and lens) w both hands.

I´m not sure what you mean is "the theory"...but I surely do hold the weight of my E-5/lens combo w my left, and my right hand is the one that steers, and in my world I only use the index finger to "shoot"; the hand can´t fire the trigger, and the finger can´t hold the camera.

Of course with small lenses the left has less to carry, and is used more to focus or just to press the unit to my face, and w larger lenses the left hand will surely take more of the weight of the body/lens combo than the right hand, than would be the case w small lenses.

This has been my experience w all system cameras (= SLRs and their likes) since the first day I held a system camera in my hands, ´round 1970...
