Venus passing through Pleiades

Recently the evening sky has been decorated by bright Venus and Jupiter. Venus was captured when it was near the well known star cluster, Pleiades.

The first picture was a stack of 21 frames; each was taken with NX100, 50-200mm, and an equatorial mount at 30sec exposure. Total exposure is 10 minutes and 9 seconds. Somehow the date of the first picture is wrong. The second is a single shot at 1 minute. Venus was captured between branches just before its setting.

Samsung NX100
