Re: Makes sense!

yes maybe i dont must to do much methaphoric talk here :-)))

anyway 16-80mm i intended as a metaphor...of samsung marketing production style

i m much more interested to the 24mm f1.8 (that will replace both my 20mm 2.8 and 30mm f2)

anyway if i must choice for my style of phography between owning just 1 lens (24mm 1.8) or 2 lens (20mm f2.8 or 30mm f2) i go for the univeral 35mm (ok 36mm to be precise f1.8 lens...)

so i think that if they act like for the 16-80mm , also the 24mm it will never see the light

also another kind of meaning was for the cameras...i just meant that we will sure see a successor of NEX 7 that is already a very good camera, with a better sensor then nex 7

while i m not sure about samsung....i.e. my NX11 had a worst sensor (MUCH) then my GH2 (less resolution, more then 1 stop of noise)
...if you consider that its a lot bigger sensor...well no need more words

this is why i sold and kept just the primes...(very good lens)

In case I have not understand your post because English is not my native language please forgive me.

I'm not a native speaker either, but he makes a lot of sense:

He owns three Samsung prime lenses, but because he shoots like Cartier-Bresson, who used most of the time just one lens, he only needs two primes. All right. And although he is a purist and only uses prime lenses, he will sell all his NX lenses if Samsung won't release a 16-80mm and get a Sony NEX, because Sony will release a successor to the NEX7 for sure! Sony doesn't have a 16-80mm either, but the marketing is far better!

Glad I could help.
