Very nice set, where abouts is that?

Fantastic set of pictures, looks very sharp nice contrast.

I'm thinking to buy the 300mm f/4 to use it with my D7000 + TC 1.7

How is Fha AF tracking and speed of the lens with TC attached?

Thank you for posting.

many thanks, the 300mm with the TC 1.7 is slower for the initial focus lock, but once locked it tracks with no problems, you might have to stop down to get some extra sharpness with the combo too

Beautiful shots! Sharp and dramatic. I can almost hear the engines. Would like to know what shutter speed you were using. Thanks for sharing.

Nice. I went to the Duxford Imperial War Museum last weekend. Awesome place if you like airplanes (not necessarily flying, though)

I think I recognise most of these - except for the German monoplane. Last one? Armstrong Siddeley radial (from look of crankcase) - Avro Tutor?

yes it's an Avro Tutor and the German monoplane is a Messerschmitt Me 108
