To give digital files or not?

In this day and age of people copying photos by scanning, stealing off of websites and etc... In your business do you just sell the client the files and let them print them or do you try and hold the rights to the files? Why do you and why don't you? I am trying to decide which way to go with this. In one way I feel like just selling my time and digital files and let the customer handle the printing needs, but how much would I lose in print sales? So far the stuff we have done, no one has asked us for the files, everyone has been just ordering what we take and post online. I just need some professional opinions on this. Also, what is reasonable to charge for files on a disc these days? I truly believe we may have to do this to stay ahead of the market and offer something other photogs do not.
