Re: Lightroom X1 Pro - When?

Yes the jpgs look good, but they are heavily noise reduced and pretty furry as a result when compared to a RAW file that has been developed. The limited success I have had with Silky pix makes it clear how strong the in camera JPG processing really is when you compare the two side by side.

I want a RAW processor as soon as possible.

Silkypix will not be what I use except as an emergency stopgap until ACR,DNG converter or LR supports it. The Silkypix I paid for (bundled with the camera) is awkward, clumsy and slow and I would never purchase an upgrade or later version of this software based on the performance of the one sold/bundled to me with my camera.
