Some Perspective for 5DMKIII, D800, and DXOmark

I wonder if we're thinking of dynamic range the same way

because I don't see how I'm going to see deeper into shadow areas as a result of, by whatever means, making the image I'm viewing smaller. DxO may say it, and you may believe it, but until I experience myself, I'm not a believer.

DxOMark, as mentioned before, gives its scores normalized to a 8 megapixel image.
