Might be worth reading Michael's essay before rattling off quick refutations - he's not talking about making cameras flawless, just avoiding really glaring operational flaws. Personally I couldn't agree with him more; some design decisions that camera manufacturers make are inexplicable, and no brand is entirely exempt from criticism.
