Aperture priority and AEB with the G10 G11 G12 G1X

I just discovered this and thought it might be useful. With my G10 and G1X (and presumably the G11 and G12 as well), Program, Shutter Priority and Manual modes all let you use the full range of shutter speeds.

Aperture Priority limits the shutter speed to 1 second and will CHANGE THE APERTURE as needed rather than extend the time. This also occurs using auto exposure bracketing in aperture-priority mode. If you're doing a 2 stop bracket and the normal exposure is 1/2 second at f/5.6, you'll get that plus 1/8 second at f/5.6 (2 stops under) and 1 second at f/4 (2 stops over). This may not be what you want.

For night HDR work, it looks like Manual is preferable.
