HX9V questions, am I getting this right?

Just got the HX9v and and it's a great little camera, but a few things puzzle me and I'd like some user feedback if I've got this wrong...
1. No Aperture Priority mode
2. Only two f/stop settings in Manual that vary by focal length
3. Burst mode doesn't work in Superior Auto

4. There is no control over image quality (normal, fine) or over image resolution (the actual captured data may varies by the content of the image)

5. The Superior Auto setting defaults to Tracking Mode focus and must be reset for each image to Center Focus, Flexible Spot etc

6. Superior Auto uses a Scene Mode, then overlays one of 3 processing modes but there is no control over which overlay is used
7. There is no quality difference between 16 and 10MP, only in image size
