Pixel peepers...eat your heart out.

I never thought I would do this, but I have actually made a folder in Lightroom specifically for resolution tests. Seeing as I strive to only shoot in ISO 100, I simply love zooming all the way in to 1:1 just to see details that MY OWN EYES missed. As such, I wanted to share my amazement with you all. Shot RAW (what's JPEG anyway?), processed in LR4 (woo free trial) with small sharpening increases and basic editing, along with heavy downsizing of the big files.
First pictures taken with Nikon 50mm f/2 AI. This one at f/5.6

And a crop from the upper

Nice flower

Unbeknownst to me, the focus point was actually this little guy

The rest taken with the replacement, a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AI-s E-series

Pixel level sharpness, man, gotta love it.

Hey Frankie, can you read me the plane's numbers?

So yeah, that's it. Final words? 24MP is just ungodly huge, and I'm loving every bit of it, now that I have 2 lenses that can outresolve it!
