Canon schizophrenia and betrayal

The 5D2 with its high pixel count, great price, mediocre AF and slow frame rate, was fantastic for studio and landscape photographers. The 7D for birders, the 1D4 for sports and the 1DS for high rollers. All serious photographers happy.

3 years later the 1D line converges into a low pixel count, leaving studio and landscape photographers in the cold.

Following act, Canon turns the 5D line into a pricy wannabe action camera leaving studio and landscape photographers owners in the cold once more. A 22mp sensor that seems that the only reason for this particular count was for easy bin down for HD video. With no swivel screen!

Not long ago they announced with pomp and circumstance the introduction of an EOS video camera "ready" to grab Hollywood by the ears. Soon, they will be announcing yet another video camera.

In the meantime after 3-4 years, they have just announced 2 FF still photography cameras with low pixel counts with the same DR and the same banding problems.
Who is not to be angry about all this.
