Sharp-shinned Hawk?

Hi all. I am practicing some of the advice I have gotten on the forum about using the SX40 HS. Thanks for helping me!

I got some pretty good pictures of what I think is a Sharp-shinned hawk (I am not sure about the ID though). The first image is straight out of the camera, although I think I may have the colors set on "film" - but the is the correct color for the really blue sky today. And for once I didn't have the sun in my face, so that was good.

I sharpened the the last two images a little bit and I would have done that to the first two but I wanted to post some with no pp.

If I am wrong about the bird's identification. please let me know.

I pretty much use the EVF for all my shots and I am surprised how much I enjoy it - almost like using our old 35mm rebel.

I also got a pretty good shot of a robin eating a big spider and I didn't have to do any pp with that either.
