This is the fastest continuous shooting speed in the 20+ megapixel full-frame sensor DSLR category, and it expands the potential customer base for the EOS 5D Mark III by making it more attractive to photojournalists and entry-level sports photographers.

If Canon did indeed forsake improvement elsewhere in order to accommodate higher continuous shooting speeds, that's troubling IMO. Like saying "we could have made it better, but had to dumb it down to shoot faster".
