I'm looking for some help with my 2200, which I bought new years ago. I now have a 3880 as well, so that I can print larger when needed, and also so that I have a backup if one is down.
The 2200 has been doing well. Yesterday, after printing one text page (which it handled just fine), I ran out the black ink, and had another (light magenta) running low, so as expected, I had to replace both of them. For some reason, after installing the cartridges, something has gone wrong with the charging process. It goes on and on, then finally settles on one perpetual sound, and won't even shut off. I had to unplug it. Anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?
