Time change & DATE check
I think all new cameras have DST routine built -in with the clock (which should kick in if the timezone has been set properly. For the older models, these surely need checking, just as one would check their wall clocks.
In all cases, the responsibility remains with the camera owner - hosts shouldn't care about that (same as they don't care if anyone sets the wrong WB).
In my corner the time will change Mar 25th @ 0200 hrs, and my Canon D10 is doing it automatically, while the old Sony will have to be set manually (if I don't forget
