Nikon V1 + Sigma 50mm f/2.8
I normally don't enjoy portraits.
Perhaps they are shoved in my face too often or maybe I'm overwhelmed with the amount of portrait photography there is. In my Portrait class, we are currently working with Rembrandt lighting using strobes which is exciting. In this specific shot, I used a large soft box. The ending result was this enjoyable capture of my friend Walker. I guess the reason why I was so pleased with this shot was because before this, I didn't enjoy what I was doing with portraits. The class is fun, but I'm doing something I'm not every good at nor do I really care to look more into it but last night really changed that for me. Perhaps if I work more at this the ending results will be just as nice and enjoyable as this shot.
I Don't Capture, I Create.
