K5 upgrade advice
Recently my good wife uttered some magic words, "What would you like for your birthday?" (It's my 60th in a few weeks). After some discussion 'we' agreed my trusty and much-loved K10D should be upgaded to a K5. I don't need convincing this is a smart move but finances are tight here in the UK and I will be buying the body only and using my limited range of existing lenses, as follows:
K10D kit lenses (rarely used)
SMC Pentax-DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6
SMC Pentax-DA 50-200mm F4-5.6
ME Super manual lenses (can't bear to part with them)
SMC Pentax-M 50mm F1.7 (frequently used)
SMC Pentax-M 28mm F2.8
SMC Pentax-M 135mm F3.5
Walk around lenses
Sigma AF 17-70mm f/2.8-4.5 DC macro
Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro Lens
Does anyone have experience of the Sigma and/or Tamron with the K5? To what degree will I be missing the full potential of the K5 processor with these lenses? I mainly shoot landscapes and flowers.
I also have a Metz 48 AF-1 flash gun. I assume this will be fully functional with the K5?
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
