K mount lens on SD15
I have a really nice F1.7 Pentax lens that works on my SD15 with one small problem.
The lens will focus at infinity just fine but it will travel beyond infinity and hit the hot mirror. I have to be very careful to not turn the lens farther in.
Is this normal for a K mount lens?
I really like the lens because it doesn't create magenta hot spot when stopped down. My other M42 lens (Helios M44-4) works well as long as it it not stopped down. It looks like the IR that is being reflected off the hot mirror shines on the aperture blades and creates the red area in the center of the image. I am wondering what is different about the Pentax lens.
