If you come from SLR

You kow most things important for photoshooting. The 'D' does not matter so much.

I would use caution with lenses. The (Tamron) 18-200 is the oldest superzoom in the market, and what came later was better. The 75-300 is also a cheap lens I got with my A100. It is collecting dust since some years, even the Tamron/Sony 18-250 is better. And with a 55mm filter thread it is one of the slowest lenses available. The only good feature is the price.

Always the same question: how much are you willing to spend for glass and how much equipment are you willing or able to carry. I have also retired, and I start feeling that I do not get stronger.
