Yes, it is part of a sequence, it is impossible to actually see what happens when these little fluffy birds fight. You just shoot and pray that some of the pictures are good aesthetically. Technically it' easy, focus is kept fixed on the plane of the trunk, where they go to eat fat stuffed in the bark, but usually there are heads bent to the wrong side, one bird is in focus and another is not and similar problems. Once in a while one comes out good as this one. Luckily for the birds, and not for the photographer, the days when it's really cold and they crowds to the bird table, in this part of the world are few, so the chances to do this kind of pics are low. But it's best for the birds.
