BIF: Swallows. Using 55-300 DAL
Yesterday and today I spent sometime shooting swallows and, of the 900 pics, Only about 15 are presentable! Why?
Dang! These little fellas are so small and fast. Even with using AF-C, auto 5 points focus and Hi 6 FPS burst, I got only about 120 in decent focus. After every burst I'll get about 2-3 blank skies (or other stuff).
Quite capable, I suppose, for screw-driven kit lens and the K-r.
Now, whoever says the K-r won't be good for sports, I won't believe him. Swallows are a hell lot much faster and they're so, so small to lock focus on.
Anyhow, hope you like 'em. I'm showing only three pics here. You can see more in my Swallows Gallery. All pics are 100% crops without PP.
