Re: NX10 + NX100 for wedding photography?

Thank you all for your thoughtful advice! After reconsidering it all, I think Zdman summed it up really well in his comment.

I think it's the best for me to skip this great photo opportunity. Not only because of the chance of failure, but also because I and my wife are very good friends of the marrying couple. It would be much nicer in the end if we could really enjoy the entire day all together. Besides that I would take a small camera anyway (EX1 or NX10+30mm) to take some nice candid shots to complement the 'real' wedding pictures.

Yeah people are sentimental about weddings pics and I've seen some people who say they didn't care get really upset about it later. It has the potential to ruin or at least somewhat sour a relationship if things don't go to plan (and even if they do as there will always be a shot they wanted but you didn't get no matter how good the photographer). Even if you were a pro with the latest gear I'd still advise against it because of the personal connection (its not family like your brother). Its like selling your friend a used car, when it breaks down you know who they're going to blame.

As it happens sure the NX can do weddings but the bad high ISO and the jello effect movies don't make it ideal.
