Flickr's picture servers suffer Leap Year bug
Flickr's Farm servers are issuing invalid security certificates today (1th March), because Flickr ... in their infinite wisdom ... forgot 2012 is a leap year. My browser warns me of an untrusted connection when I try view pictures, the cert expired yesterday.
As a result, no one can view pictures on Flickr using a secure HTTPS connection at the moment (HTTP seems to be OK). They are issuing new certs now, but they will take time to propagate though the servers, the problem should gradually resolve today. Hopefully.
Seems a bit silly they would forget it's a leap year, but after all flicker is undergoing a major interface upgrade at the moment. More here:
