Remembering the old days

I grew up with 35mm film.
You would change the film instead of upgrading your camera body.

All you had to set was ISO, Shutter speed, and aperture.

Focusing was manual. You didn't have to worry about whether the camera allowed focus adjustment. If the focus was off it was your fault, not the camera.

No image stabilization, you had to hold the camera steady by yourself.

No body grip, wasn't needed, one hand under the lens and the other on the body was sufficient. Now without one people won't buy the darn camera.

No battery, you could hike for months and not worry about charging a battery.

Smaller lighter cameras, now with all the "improvements" they've gotten bigger.

I can think of more but ..........
