Strobe or Flash Lighting?
To start with, I am a newbie but wanting to set up a home studio in order to gather skills and experience before moving on to more expensive professional studio lighting kit. I have read a lot of thread here but none seems to directly answer my question, hence my thread. I have got a Canon 600D (T3i) & Canon Speedlite 580EX II and about to purchase YN-565EX flashguns as my second flash. I will like to take portraits and don't know if to go the strobe lighting way (strobe heads...) or the flah lighting way (using flashes for lighting). Since I want to use this medium to learn more about lighting & gain necessary experience, I wouldn't want to spend more than £150 in all.
Please kindly advice on the best method.
