sorry guys if this as been done to death ,but what make, size and class of memory card do you recomend.
beginner dslr user
mainly photos of my best friend ( dog)
continous shooting (he moves about a lot )
maybe some video footage random moments etc

Basically a reasonable priced allround memory card

at the moment i am using a sandisk sdhc 8gb card ,not sure of class, but have had a few problems with this card, so i am looking to buy a better main card and keep my original as a back up,spare.
thankyou again for your time glenn

Try 7dayshop.com They are a Jersey based bunch who have been around supplying memory etc for donkey's years. I've always had plenty of success with Sandisk. You might as well go for the Extreme cards (class 10) then you will be good for video.
thanks ian for the link will take a look
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/default.php?cat=6&type=6021&man=146&go=GO&comp=

The only drawbacks with them is a) they will only deliver to your credit card address and b) are slowish (5-7days) if you use their standard delivery option. They also sell via Amazon.co.uk
i can live with delivery estimate and terms are no problem
Avoid buying from e-bay as there are too many fakes about.

thats where igot this one from ,i wont be buying from ebay again for memory cards
