NEX-5N back from Laredo
So my 5N had two problems: first the infamous click, and second, there was some kind of gunk or (perhaps worse) ding on the sensor that I couldn't get up with a dry cleaning kit. I sent it in with specific instructions to repair both and a request for repair cost on the second item (which isn't under warranty). Also I asked that they not remove the GGS stick-on screen cover.
After six days I got it back, unceremoniously dumped by FedEx on my stoop. Inside was no information about what was done at all, just a bill for $0.
CLICK: not entirely eliminated but greatly reduced.
SENSOR: cleaned or replaced.
SCREEN COVER: still there.
So there you go.
