First stop is a simple blower.

For more stubborn stuff I have used a clean nylon brush (washed with distilled water and dried, then blasted with the air blower to remove dust from the brush) and this has always worked for me so far.

I have never needed to wet swab - however a while ago I found myself without my dust kit one day, and a big piece of dust on my sensor to shift, and I did resort to doing something I have never done before and never will again - blow on the sensor.
I think I now need a wet clean . . .
