TTL won't work on a non-Nikon camera, and looking at the location of the non-TTL Auto sensor on the SB-30 I don't see how it can be used while tilted (for better lighting). In addition, it doesn't swivel so it's pretty limited.

A much better flash which is more flexible, more powerful and doesn't weigh that much more is the Olympus FL36. I'm using it with the GX200 and couldn't be happier. You can see some pictures I took with this setup at ISO 200 here:
