LOL, wrong.

That's a valid point, and that's when I carry an S100 in my shirt pocket.

CSC's won't go in a pocket, they go in a bag. If I have to carry a bag, it's going to contain my 5DII.

Back in 2001 a DSLR (Canon D30) was the only means to get decent IQ going digital. That was then, but today you get (nearly) everything you want using a tiny compact system camera (CSC) with interchangeable lenses.

LOL, wrong. I want 35mm f/1.4. I want 85mm f/1.8. I want 70-200 f/2.8. I want 24-70 f/2.8. I want 17-40 f/4.

And by 24-70 f/2.8, I mean actually 24mm to 70mm at f/2.8. Not 38.4mm to 112mm f/4.5. And so on.

How do you get anywhere close to that with a CSC? You can't.
