Which lens should I rent for brother's wedding?

I am looking to rent a lens for my little brother's wedding in April. Now the question is, which one would be the best choice for my camera? I have the Canon T1I, so it is a crop sensor camera. Here are the ones I was looking at:
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II VC for Canon
or
Canon EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS
or should I go with something a little more expensive like the:

Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L (this one doesn't have IS, I'm not sure how big of a difference that will make)
or the

Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 EX DG for Canon , which is about the same cost as the first 2.

Or is there another lens entirely that you would rent if you were me? My equipment is Canon T1I, 50 mm 1.8, 18-55 kit lens, 55-250

Side note: SIL has made sure that it's ok with her photog for me to shoot also (W/O flash during ceremony, of course)
