When will you see the D800E's resolution advantage in landscapes?

Much of the speculation on the D800E's sensor performance centers on the expected benefits of greater resolution, when shooting landscapes vs the D800 with the AA filter in place. It seems to me that the delta in resolution may be almost invisible for most landscapes and maybe only noticeable in a few settings, when using the basic FX suite of the 14-24, 24-70, and 70-200.

So, the question for the experts is for a given print size, say 11x14 or 11x17, would we see any greater resolution in a shot of something like the Grand Canyon, the Alps, the Serengeti, or your favorite location? For that matter, what type of landscape would it take for any benefit to be noticeable?

Thanks,
Mike
