D800 - best budget lenses?

Most prime lenses will give the D800s sensor a run for its money. As someone else pointed out its effectively two D7000 sensors side by side (in resolution anyway) and people don't get so stressed about needing the very best lenses for that camera.

Cheap zooms are the challenge, its good to see the Tamron 28-75 2.8 being mentioned a few times, though if the new 24-70 2.8 VC is as good I know what I'll be buying....
