Shooting inside the Cherry Hill Mall

I visit my wife who is a manager at a store there and it's the weekend before Valentines day so I'm not going to see her much. After, I find a chair and start shooting some pics of the people rushing up and down the mall. I sit 15 minutes and decide to find a better spot. I wait and someone gets up from a chair facing the escalator. Perfect I think, all kinds of dress and attire are passing me. I'm shooting from my lap. Mind you, as you enter the mall, there is no sign at the entrance or anywhere in the mall ( or the website) saying not to take pictures. Two mall security step in front of me and say I can't take pictures. Fine, I turn off my camera. Then one says I have to erase all the pictures. I think that my wife works here so I'm not going to argue. They watch and I erase about 30 pictures. I stay seated and they leave. Two more security arrive and they converse. They all walk up to me and the Boss tells me I have to leave the mall by the nearest exit. In this case I'd be out back and I'm parked in the front. I plead my case, they escort me to the entrance I arrived through. I notice they are following me as I walk to my car, so I walk out to the road and down the walkway. WTF, they made me feel like a criminal!!
