I just bought a new S100 and immediately, I prefer the S90 wrist strap. It's a bit more "cottony" and has worn down over time, but it's also softer. Most importantly, The S90 strap is shorter, which enables me to tie a knot for the perfect size "wrist strap", while doing the same thing on the S100 wrist strap makes it just a tad too short to effectively hold it and adjust settings with your right hand while the strap is connected. Either way no big deal, I'll probably swap straps when I sell the S90.
Nintendo (yes, really) sells wrist straps for the Wii for $1 on their website. They are infinitely adjustable and quite handy for compact cameras.
