Really? M4/3 had zero impact?

This chart from http://m43photo.blogspot.com/2010/12/yearly-sales-statistics-from-japan.html shows a huge impact in Japan.

4/3rds have been out how long? And they have made zero impact on market share. Nikons lens sales were up 18% last year in a bad economy, they had to revise dslr sales projections UP, and not by a small bit. They are still projecting sales of 4.7 mil dslrs, in the midst of 2 disasters. Canon is projecting more than seven million dslrs for the year. These guys have a stranglehold on the market that is getting stronger, not weaker. The others are scrambling for market since they can't compete with dslrs, well, I don't think they will have much success with non traditional cameras either. They will not work as well. Sony btw, is doing fairly respectable, but not at the expense of the big two, but the smaller players.
