This is the closest I got

100%, not too sharp because of the high iso and DOF being too shallow at F4 at this distance.

as for 60D for BIF - I think it gets the job done, but i wish it had more AF points that surrounded the centre of point so the bird would not get off focus point so easily. you need to track well to stay on them.

if you can keep subject on the focus point, I find 60D's tracking to be pretty good, predictions are generally accurate.

If BIF is your main thing, and you can stretch a little, go for 7D.
