Disappointed: Canon staying with Full HD @ 24fps, not 30 or 60fps!

Disappointed that Canon did not up the fps in new sx260hs (& others), as that was the major weakness vs competition in 2011. Otherwise the sx260hs is a nice step of progress.

Sony has for a couple of years provided 30 & 60 fps @ 1920x1080p, as has several 4/3rd models.

But then, Canon stayed with 24fps for the 1Dx as well, although other fps are possible. But the 1Dx is for professionals, and the 'sampling' technique of 1Dx is superior in every-way to P&S cams of course.

Just a little disappointing to nice progress otherwise.

PS: some of us 'see' that bit of flicker with 24fps, even without fast action, not all ppl see it, it was the same back in the day of 'CRT' computer monitors, some saw the strobe effect others did not, compare it to slow fps for a video game, it can 'bug' you to distraction.
