The other advantage of the DiMAGE 7 was that it used its own Minolta color space which gave wonderful colors. My A200 allows use of either sRGB or AdobeRGB color space but I miss the Minolta color space.

I bought, and consistently use, the X-rite Colorchecker Passport system for color. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this tool! I always (almost) shoot RAW, so Minolta's color space is not an issue. But I do agree, the Dimage 7 has a nice color space.

Thanks for your thoughts.

SAY, aren't you the guy who did the lens correction profile thingie for PhotoShop and Lightroom? If you are, I must say that I have tried every possible thing I can think of to get Lightroom to recognize the file for my A2 and can't get it to. I've spent DAYS pulling out hair and pushing buttons to no avail. If you have any helpful ideas in that regard I promise to take back all of those bad things I've been saying about you!
