I have CS3, so I guess I'm stuck using the sillypix programme for RAW?

If you first use the free DNG converter you may find you can then process the files using an older version of ACR.

I have version 6.6 of Adobe's DNG converter, but the program insists on converting every proprietary raw file in the chosen folder, even if those files have already been converted. I find this intensely annoying, as it forces an unwanted detour in my workflow, and sadly, it's easier for me to convert the image into a tiff file with Samsung's rather marginal raw program, and then dump the image into Photoshop for further processing. Is there an option (that I may have missed) in Adobe's converter for converting only selected files within a folder?

I don't think there is any option for the DNG converter. It looks like a choice between modifying the sequence of your workflow (e.g. convert all SRW to DNG immediately after copying to the computer) or using an alternative RAW converter program.

Peter
