I think that maybe I need to focus not so much on taking pics of the dishes themselves but of the ingredients. I discovered the reason today.

I enjoy cooking too much. My family is completely spoiled to the extent that every meal is wholesome and cooked to perfection according to their individual taste. It doesn't take me much time at all to do this from years of practice and instinct. I think nothing of having a chicken breast brining, ready to be pan-fried, placed on top of fresh pan-fried seed bread toast with cheese grill/melted on top ready 12.5 minutes after my wife comes in the door.

The problem is that it's what my family expect of me so they hover with their plates by the pan to receive piping hot food the instant it's ready...

So I need to focus on ingredients - uncooked while I'm not cooking.
