NX20 wishlist
Feb 5, 2012
I know this has probably been done over 100 times, but here are some improvements I would like over the current NX cams
More customization (NR reduction, menu organization, Fn buttons, quick menus, etc.)
More features (automatic multi-exposure modes for better DR, noise, etc., which, yes are worse than doing post, but more convenient for on the go non-pro shots, touchscreen for touch to focus, dual SD card slots with support for UHS cards)
Please have compressed RAW files
Much better JPEG rendition than the NX200, especially regarding smearing at high ISOs
A restyling of the body while keeping the same level of ergonomics would be nice
A more sophisticated and reliably quick AF system with shorter shutter lag to match, to be on par with Sony NEX's shutter lag and Nikon's AF performance
A few more buttons would be nice. I like the arrangement on the back with ample thumb room, but I feel like the top is underutilized with all the empty space
Better video, both in terms of full manual/audio controls and quality
Articulated AMOLED and higher res EVF with good refresh rate
Non laggy buttons that are more responsive (on my NX10 the buttons sometimes don't register and there's a noticeable delay in moving through the menus and UI)
Get rid of dumb things like whatever you call the automatic scene selection based on your lens selection mode, and put in useful things like the multi-exposure modes
Mic input would be nice
