wonderful recommendation.
Yeah, that 30mm, will be called, my "Prime-Time" lense.

I am wanting to get back into street photography, and need
something that can focus , and shoot fast (within 1-2 seconds)

With pancake lenses it's great for street photography – doesn't attract much attention.

i believe the shutter button, has threading so i can attach a shutter
release cable...or maybe i will use a wireless shutter trigger, and
have the transmitter in my pocket, as the camera hangs around my kneck.

The camera has a shutter release socket and you can buy a cheap cable release on Ebay.

has anyone used manual legacy lenses one there camera?
if so,how is the focusing?
is there a magnification feature?
cant wait to get my camera.

When using a manual lens, hit OK button to toggle magnification mode. I don't know about the NX11, but the NX10 has only 2X magnification. It may be not enough in low light, but usually it's OK. EVF is even better than the screen for manual focusing. Sometimes I don't use magnification at all – if the EVF picture "shimmers" than it's in focus!
